Your listeners are spread across different platforms, so every time you publish an episode you end up shortening a link for each one and posting them separately. Multi-link tools like Linktree and Taplink help, but you still have to update every episode link by hand.
With Firstory you get one FLink for your show and one for every episode. The show link points to all the major platforms; an episode link points to that episode on each platform, and platforms that haven't picked it up yet appear automatically once they do. Listeners can also play the full episode right on the FLink page without jumping to another platform.
Share your show FLink
On the Dashboard, click "Share" to the right of your show name.
The dialog has two tabs, "FLink" and "Embed Player". It opens on "FLink".
Click "Copy" to get the link.
Share an episode FLink (LITE plan and above)
Go to Episodes and click the share icon at the far right of the episode row.
It opens on that episode's FLink. Click "Copy" to get the link.
* Episode-level links are not shown on screen - use the "Copy" button to get them. If your plan is below LITE, clicking Copy takes you to the upgrade page.
* If you actually want to share the whole show, click "Just need the show link? Use Show FLink" at the bottom of the dialog.
Share ahead of time from a draft or scheduled episode
Sometimes you need the episode link before the episode goes live, so you can schedule social posts in advance. Setting an episode to draft or scheduled already generates its FLink - drop it into your post now, and the platform links fill in as the episode is published.
* Episode links capture platform URLs automatically. Once a platform updates, the FLink follows within half an hour.
What it looks like when you share it: the social preview card
When you paste a FLink into Facebook, Threads, X or LINE, a 1200×630 preview card is generated automatically. It contains:

Show card: show name, host, and "Updated on ⟨date⟩"
Episode card: show name, episode title, publish date and duration

The card uses the theme color you picked in settings. If your main color is light and white text would be hard to read, the system switches to ink black to keep it legible. Show FLinks and episode FLinks each get their own card - nothing to set up.

Customize your FLink page and embedded player
Everything related to sharing now lives on one page: "Multi Platforms > Share & embed" in the left menu. The former "Embed Player", "FLink" and "Settings" tabs have been merged into it.
First pick the level you want to adjust
"Level" at the top of the right column has two options, "Show" and "Episode". Once you pick one, the left column only shows the settings for that level, and the right column previews both the FLink page and the embedded player live - you can see the real thing as you change colors or toggles, without saving. The player preview is interactive, so you can play it.
Theme
Ten presets are available - Default, Navy, Bohemia, Stock, Tiramisu, Flamingo, Kanagawa, Nutcracker, Vine and Ultraman - plus "Create Custom Theme" for your own colors. Show level and episode level are set independently.

Show RSS feed: let listeners copy your RSS feed and subscribe on any other app.
Show external links: add your own website and social accounts to your FLink. See this article for how to set them up.

When you're done, click "Save" at the bottom right of the page. The button stays grey until something changes.

See total FLink clicks on the Analytics page.
Open an episode's detail page to see the total clicks for that episode's FLink.
FAQ
Can I point my own domain at my FLink?
Not at the moment. Your podcast website lets you customize the last part of the URL (for example firstory.me/user/yourname), but you can't map a domain you bought onto that page. What you can do instead is add your website as an external link on your FLink: Firstory Studio > "Edit Podcast" > "Advanced Information" tab > find the "External Link" section > click "Add" and enter the name and URL.
Why does the Apple Podcasts link show up later than the others?
FLink captures each platform's web link automatically, and the Apple Podcasts web version updates a little behind its app, so the Apple link on your FLink sometimes appears later.
