Welcome to Firstory! Now that your files are hosted with us, the next step is ensuring your audience finds you. Pro-tip: Keep your old hosting account active for at least 30 days as a safety net.
1. Manually Updating RSS Feeds
Most platforms will detect your new Firstory RSS Feed automatically within 1–2 days. If it takes longer, you can manually update it:
Apple Podcasts: Log in to Apple Podcast Connect, edit the "RSS Feed URL," and save.
Spotify: Go to Spotify for Podcasters, select "Details > Update," and paste your new Firstory RSS Feed.
2. Link Your Existing Platforms (No Re-submission Required)
You do not need to re-apply or go through a review process again. Simply copy your original platform links and paste them into the "Streaming Platforms" section of your Firstory dashboard.
3. Data Synchronization
Spotify Analytics: It takes up to 24 hours for our system to automatically fetch and import your historical Spotify data.
