Want to make it easier for fans to support your show? Subscription trials are a powerful way to convert casual listeners into long-term patrons.

The Earning Power of Firstory Creators:

  • ✨ 2024 H1 Total Revenue: NT$ 17,767,636

  • ✨ 2023 Full Year Total Revenue: NT$ 22,334,409

How Subscription Trials Work

You can offer a 1 to 30-day free trial for your paid subscription plans. This allows fans to experience the value of your exclusive content before committing financially.

  • Full Access: During the trial, listeners enjoy all the perks and content assigned to paid members.

  • Seamless Transition: Subscribers provide their credit card details upfront. Charging only begins automatically once the trial period ends.

  • Credit Card Verification: To ensure the card is valid, a $1 (or NT$1) temporary authorization charge will occur. This is not a real fee and will not appear on the final bill.

Setup Guide

  1. Locate the "Offer Subscription Trial" setting (Note: This setting applies to all Monthly and Yearly plans simultaneously).

  2. Enter your desired trial duration (1–30 days) and save.

Managing Trial Members

In your Audience Management dashboard, you can track users in the "Trial" status. You will also see their specific trial end dates, helping you forecast upcoming conversions.
