Need to add a standard intro, background music, or a CTA to your episode without reopening your editing software? Firstory’s "Multi-Segment Upload" feature allows you to combine and reorder multiple audio tracks directly within our upload interface.
Getting Started
When uploading a new episode, click "Enable the New Upload Interface" to access the multi-segment feature.
Audio Types & Color Coding
You can add audio from various sources, each represented by a specific color for easy management:
🟢 Insert Sound Material (Green): Upload recurring clips (like intros, outros, or CTAs) in the "Sound Materials" section below. Once inserted into your episode, these clips will appear in Green.
🔴 Add Music (Red): Use the KKBOX Music Embedded feature to add legally licensed music to your show. These segments will appear in Red.
🔵 Add Local Files (Blue): Upload your main recorded content directly. These files will appear in Blue.
Organization & Management
Rearrange Order: Simply drag the "dotted area" at the top of each segment to change the playback sequence.
Delete Segments: Hover over an audio segment and click the ❌ in the top right corner to remove it.
Rename Tracks: Click the "Pencil icon" next to the file name to rename your segments for better organization.
