Notice: Firstory's monetization is currently only available in selected markets (Taiwan, Indonesia, and Stripe Supported Countries). We're adding more countries as we grow. If your country is not yet supported, feel free to ask us through email [email protected] and we'll look into the possibilities in your market!

Congratulations on growing your show! This guide will explain how to navigate Firstory’s payout system, understand service fees, and successfully withdraw your funds.

1. Understanding Service Fees

We keep our fee structure simple. The service fee covers payment processing, withdrawal fees, and platform maintenance. This fee structure only applies to Stripe supported countries users.

Firstory Hosting Users

Other Hosting Platforms

15% or more

Pro-Tip:

  • If you're an Indonesian user, due to specific laws regarding digital transaction and payments, your earnings is already calculated and deducted, so this fee structure does not apply.

2. Payout Limits & Timeline

  • Frequency: Once per month.

  • Maximum Limit: US$ 15,000 per month (Please contact our customer support if you need a higher limit).

  • Timeline: Payments are processed on the second Friday of the following month.

    • Example: Apply by Sept 30 → Receive funds by the second Friday of October.

  • Only for Indonesian Users: Your earnings are automatically paid every month on the second Friday of the month, if your balance already exceeds IDR 100,000.

3. Individual Creators (Personal Accounts)

  • If you are a global Stripe supported countries user, you may withdraw directly from your Stripe Connect account, you may also set up your bank accounts in your Stripe account.

  • If you're an Indonesian user, [please fill in this form] to register your banking details, and we will proceed with email confirmation to your account. If you fail to verify in time, your balance will be rolled over to the next payment schedule.

4. Troubleshooting Failed Payouts

If you haven't received your funds by the scheduled date, check your Withdrawal History for a failure reason. Common issues include:

  • Incorrect bank account details.

  • Missing or late company invoices.

  • Bank-side processing errors.
