Spotify’s auto-generated transcript feature now supports Traditional Chinese! This makes your show more accessible and helps with content discoverability.
Traditional Chinese Support
If your transcripts on Spotify are currently showing in "Simplified Chinese," they will be automatically converted. This process is triggered by an RSS update (e.g., publishing a new episode or editing show info) and will take effect within 12 hours of the update.
How to Change Transcript Language
To ensure Spotify displays transcripts in Traditional Chinese, follow these steps:
Navigate to the "Basic Info" tab.
In the "Language" dropdown, select "Chinese (Traditional)" and save your changes.
Notes: If you are using any other language, you may replicate this settings in accordance to your Podcast language and it will generate the same outcome.
⚠️ Other Platforms (July 2024 Update)
Currently, Apple Podcasts only supports auto-transcripts for English, French, German, and Spanish. We will update this guide if and when Traditional Chinese support is added by Apple.
